Intersolar: aleo zeigt neue Premium-Solarmodule der LEO-Serie

Aleo Solar is presenting its new LEO premium module series at Intersolar. The LEO modules are available as glass film modules for on-roof and in-roof installation. With the glass-foil modules for on-roof installation, there is a variant that is shorter by one half-cell per row of strings. Both module sizes can be interconnected. The flexible selection of sizes makes it possible to optimally utilize almost any roof.

The LEO family has the right module for practically every application. The flagship LEO module with 108 half-cells made of monocrystalline silicon and a white back sheet delivers a peak power of 405 watts in the full size (1,752 x 1,144 x 40 mm). In the short version with 96 half-cells it is 360 watts. For operators who value a homogeneous appearance of the solar system, there is the LEO black variant with a black backing film with the same dimensions.

High efficiency over the entire service life

By using silicon half-cells with ten busbars, aleo minimizes the series resistance and thus maximizes the efficiency of its premium modules.

Thin round wires are used instead of flat wire, so that more light hits the cells.

The busbars, which run close together, not only increase the efficiency but also the durability of the modules by offering alternative current paths. In this way, aleo prevents one of the main causes of the declining performance of solar modules over their service life.

In addition, the tried-and-tested upright packaging of the modules prevents defects from occurring during transport.

Maximum solar power harvest with minimal ecological footprint

Consistent climate protection begins with aleo photovoltaic modules during production. Aleo produces the LEO solar modules in Germany. This ensures short transport routes. In addition, the electricity used in module production comes 100 percent from renewable energies.

“For climate and environmental protection, it is important to achieve the highest possible solar power harvest over the years using as few resources as possible. That's why we not only value maximum efficiency, but also a long service life for our modules," says William Chen, CEO of aleo.

The LEO modules are also larger than their predecessors. In this way, more solar power can be installed in a shorter time. Nevertheless, they can withstand high snow loads (up to 8100 Pa pressure) and storms (3600 Pa suction). Even extreme conditions such as salt mist in coastal regions, ammonia from animal stalls or dust cannot harm them.

The principle of longevity also applies to the details. For example, aleo relies on the original MC4 connectors with MULTILAM technology. The spring-loaded contact lamellas ensure that the losses in the connectors remain low over the entire service life.

aleo gives a 25-year product and performance guarantee to ensure the long service life of the LEO modules. In the event of a warranty claim, the company will cover the entire cost of replacing the modules.

Diverse options for integration into the roof and building

The LEO Sol in-roof variant also comes in all black, with a peak output of 345 watts and a size of 1,169 x 1,607 x 17 mm.
