Solar park in Thiva

With some 12,400 aleo S_03 monocrystalline solar modules, the open-field facility in the municipality of Thebes (around 50 km north of Athens) is one of the largest solar parks in Greece. It is estimated that the site will yield at least 2.7 million kilowatt hours annually – equivalent to the energy consumption of 800 three-person households. Financed by Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, the solar park is operated by the energy investor Savvas Zafeiratos & Co. AE (Advanced Photon Dynamics SA).

The 100kWp free field system consists of 540 aleo S-16 poly-crystalline modules in combination with SMA SMC11000TL inverters and is located in the historical environment of Mycenae and Tiryns. The aleo modules are installed on a quality free-field mounting system from Habdank which is based on photovoltaic ramming fundaments. The PV system thereby integrates aesthetically into the surroundings.

Suncarrier tracking system in Perdika

aleo's premium modules optimise the use of solar energy. Having the modules track the sun instead of directing them to the south at all times improves their power yield by up to 32 percent. In Perdika, a total of 441 aleo modules are mounted on three Suncarrier systems, a powerful tracking system made by a+f GmbH from Würzburg. Set up on a round rail system with a diameter of 12 metres, the Suncarrier adjusts itself to the position of the sun once every ten minutes.

Façade Installation at Volos Municipal Health Organization Center

The Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) system of the Municipal Health Organization Center in Volos is the first BIPV on a public municipality building in Greece. It consists of 20 S73 160Wp modules with black frames and black surface specially designed for building integrated applications. The modules are connected to three SMA SunnyBoys and are installed on Schletter mounting system. The system has been designed considering architectural, aesthetical and yield performance parameters and was jointly donated to the municipality of Volos by aleo solar, SMA, Schletter and RSEnergy.

2 MW solar farm in Thiva

This greenfield installation in Thiva with approximately 10.000 polycristalline solar modules of the type aleo S_18 is one of the largest solar parks in Greece. The PV system is the first MW system applying the new generation of SMA Tripower inverters in Greece and is one of the first Tripower MW scale parks in Europe at all. The modules are installed on the FS mounting system of Schletter and are based on ramming fundaments. RSEnergy Hellas Solartechnik has constructed this project with own machinery and people for the private investor Nea Elektra.
