aleo solar AG generates annual revenue of EUR 462 million in 2011

aleo solar AG [ISIN: DE000A0JM634] today announced that, based on preliminary calculations, it expects to have achieved revenue of EUR 462 million in financial year 2011. The company had previously anticipated annual revenue of EUR 440 million. Revenue was down 17 percent in 2011 compared to the previous year (EUR 554 million). Foreign business accounted for around 48 percent of revenue in 2011.
Polycrystalline modules
The polycrystalline aleo solar modules are characterized by a uniform shimmering blue surface and are optimal for use in grid-connected systems. All modules are optimally adjusted to meet the needs of today's market: they have installation-friendly dimensions, are stable, efficient, and cleanly processed. The high quality of aleo solar modules with polycrystalline cells is also confirmed by independent bodies. The aleo solar standard module S_16 was awarded the top grade by the German product testing foundation Stiftung Warentest and achieved first place in the test. In particular, the product's electricity generation and durability were appraised as "good".
