aleo solar AG signs cell procurement agreement with Q-Cells AG

aleo solar AG [ISIN: DE000A0JM634] today announced that it has signed a procurement agreement for solar cells with Q-Cells AG (QCE; WKN 555866).

This contract, which runs from 2008 to the end of 2019, covers a volume of at least 1,270 megawatts, with an option to expand up to a total volume of 2,270 megawatts. There will be no industry-typical advance payments; pricing is oriented on market trends.

aleo solar AG is significantly expanding its business relations with Q-Cells AG. "We are producing more and more modules in more and more countries at a consistently high premium quality," says Heiner Willers, member of the Management Board of aleo solar AG. "We can do this because we have the necessary production expertise and pay attention to a select quality in our materials. With Q-Cells, we have the world's largest solar cell manufacturer on board. Our previous experience with Q-Cells has been excellent. We are now continuing this high-quality partnership."

Both domestically and internationally, aleo solar AG is systematically pursuing its growth targets. Currently, production capacities are being expanded from 100 to 180 megawatts by the end of 2008.
