aleo solar AG [ISIN: DE000A0JM634] today announced revenue of EUR 376.1 million (previous year: EUR 360.5 million) and EBIT of 16.0 million (previous year: EUR 23.8 million) for financial year 2009, according to preliminary calculations. Despite the difficult market environment, the EBIT margin was a solid 4.3 percent (previous year: 6.6 percent). Earnings per share are expected to come in at EUR 0.78 (previous year: EUR 1.20).

aleo solar AG today announced the signing of a supply contract with the Mexican installation company Grupo Desmex S.A. in January, further expanding its leading position in the Mexican photovoltaic market. The frame contract covers solar modules with a rated output of 5,000 KW, which are to be supplied by the end of the year.

aleo solar AG today announced that it has delivered modules for two solar farms in the Czech Republic. Installed on greenfield sites, the power plants have a maximum rated output of around one megawatt each. Grid connection is planned for December.

aleo solar AG today announced growing demand for its modules for commercial rooftop solar power facilities in Belgium. In October, two solar power plants rated at 350 KW and more than 500 KW respectively went online in Flanders. Many more orders are already in the pipeline for the year 2010.
